The program ignoring delay function

Hello everyone, I have a problem, which is when i run my program after a while of operation, it start to ignore the delay function and starts running very quickly. I changed the div ice but it did not solve the problem. I also changed the editor to Mixly software, but this did not solve the problem, I face the problem even with the simplest programs, such as printing Hello World, or blinking LEDs. Is this because of the Arduino? Please help me.

sounds like a defective board. I would check if there are any bad solder joints on the crystal or the two capacitors attached to it.

Well, if the problem were to be with your code itself, do you think we might be better able to help you if you showed us the code? The problem you describe, 99.9% of the time, is found to be something unrelated to what the original poster theorizes is the problem, so...

He writes that even the "Hello world" sketch has that problem, so it must be a hardware problem.

I don't think he knows what he means, because what would you measure with Hello World that would 'speed up'?
Anyway, have fun. Clearly, hasn't read the how to, nor posted where he should (how is this an IDE 1.x problem?), so I'm out.

@arthmvvvttad Why did you move this topic from the Programming category of the forum ?

What means this? That you find the same behaviour when you use a different Arduino board?
