The publisher could not be verified

I installed the Arduino software on a WinXP machine. When I start it up, I get “The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?”. I just click and go on with life. Ditto with the Processing software.

It doesn’t seem to hurt anything, but it’s a nuisance. How do I make it go away?

Edit: I found the answer. Right-click on the program and choose Properties. Click on . Simple as that.

How do I make it go away?

Get a Mac ::slight_smile:

@Kitep:

You must perform the Inversed Rite of Ash'Kente. But be warned, IT might be too strong already.

Repent and convert to linux.

That Inversed Rite made for good reading. If the Discworld books are like that, I'll have to check them out.

Oh yes, most of them are beyond any rating I could think of :wink:

My greetings to Lord Vetinari !

Er, when you download the Arduino software to a Mac it might ask you a similar question if it has never seen the app before.
