I have an AMG8833 thermal sensor with an arduino mega and a ILI9341 TFT 2.8" shield.
I have installed all the correct libraries and have adapted the Sheild screen for Mega by soldering closed the ICSP and splitting the 11 - 13.
I have tested the screen with some examples and it works fine and I tested the pixel array of the sensor in the serial monitor and both work fine independently.
However, when I run the Thermal_cam example, nothing is displayed on the screen. What could be the problem here? I am a newbie so am not totally confident with reading the code within the example and understanding everything it is doing. I am frantically undertaking tutorials to try to get better at this.
