Thermal Dilatation with load cell + HX711

Morning, everybody.

I have been developing this project in which an estimation of dilatation coeff. is needed. I got an Arduino Uno Board, a load cell and a HX711 amplifier. The code used to measure weight is correct and functioning. Does anyone know how to convert it so it's possible to calculate dilatation or contraction?

Is dilation similar to thermal expansion?

Its a mistranslation for expansion. "Thermal coefficient of linear expansion" is the full description,
unless volume expansion is meant.

A force sensor cannot measure expansion. You need some sort of precision distance measuring
device, perhaps linear encoder, DRO scale.
