I successively got my seiko thermal printer printing from my arduino. I went on the lookout for some thermal printer mechanisms. Theres many to choose from of all different shapes and sizes 
My question is that the majority of the suppliers don't have control boards for them, or seem to lack documentation. I've been doing lots of research but the only thing that I can find that comes close to explaining it is...
So if anyone could point me in the right direction or explain the process behind the control board or what kind of ics are used it would be greatly appreciated.
