Thermocouple Thermometer type T

Hi.

My question is simple.

Can I use the arduino to make a thermocouple thermometer type T ? if not why ?

I know that I can use it for K types but that is not what I'm looking for.

Buy a suitable shield…

Allan

You will need an appropriate amplifier and cold junction for any type of thermocouple.

The rest of the process involves how you interpret the voltage readings (look up "thermocouple tables").

and what else do I need ?

can you please write down the part the need to build the Thermocouple Thermometer type T

I'm working on this school project and I'm new at this

you help would be much appreciated

Hi, See:

Adafruit Universal Thermocouple Amplifier MAX31856 Breakout

This converter communicates over 4-wire SPI and can interface with any K, J, N, R, S, T, E, or B type thermocouple.
