My school recently purchased some SparkFun Investor’s Kit Lab Packs including Arduino UNO boards. Are these boards compatible with Windows based Thin Clients? Currently, none of my HP TC610 or T5740s recognizes the hardware. I have tried in Administrative and User mode.
We are currently interfacing with VMware View 5.1 in a PCoIP environment.
I was curious if anyone else was in a similar environment or experiencing similar issues. I believe the problem is due to the Thin Client inability to communicate over raw hardware ports. Popular USB tools like mouse, keyboard, some printers, and flash drives are virtualized.
