No. The Thing name is only a human friendly identifier. An ID like ae87baa6-ebc5-4771-891d-53e22c7b170b is used to identify the Thing to machines.

I guess you mean the Mega 2560? If so, that board is not supported for use with Arduino IoT Cloud.
