Thinking of making a github repo of Arduino resources

Thinking of making a github repo of Arduino resources.

The repo will include docs, forums, project hubs more.

I could use some help making it.

Especially since my GitHub skills are not that great.

Please add feedback in this forum thread.

Thanks.
Add pull requests if you want.

Oh my. Typo.
Project hubs.
Eg Arduino Project hub

There are plenty of Arduino Git's already.
However be careful with the word "resources" as the Arduino version is not what you might think.

It would be a simple matter to clone most of the official ones but I don't really see any point.

As for Project hub I think they have parted ways with Hackster and so far the Arduino version seems to quite crippled by red tape. The Hackster version is my preferred goto.

?

?

Yes.
Has quite a lot of broken links too.

It will include not just the official sites.
Do you want to collaborate on it?

For me I spent quite a lot of time googling project hubs etc.
I found some. But now i keep finding more.
It would be useful for me maybe for other people to..

Does anyone know more resources?

Has Arduino section.

Decent project hub.

If anyone wants to collaborate on this let me know.
Thanks.

Seems interesting.

Ok. Going to reorganize using tables.

Name Description Arduino Section Features Pros Cons Notes
Arduino Project Hub
Hackster.io Text
Hackster.io Text

Any suggestions for additional or less columns?
(I have more resources than that!)

You might take a look at how some of the more prominent "awesome" lists are structured:

https://github.com/topics/awesome

("Awesome" lists are collections of links to useful resources on a given subject, similar to your project)

I see there are even a couple for Arduino. Maybe you will find some resources to add to your own list there:

Thank you!
Will see!

Hmm. Both are using List structures.
Should I use tables or lists.....

Both resources seem to be dying. :frowning:

Yeah, the Arduino "awesome" lists are not so prominent. I only mentioned the Arduino "awesome" lists because they happen to have the subject matter of interest.

I recommend using the more prominent "awesome" lists with tens or hundreds of thousands of stars from my first link as possible inspiration for the structure of your project.
