(1) The 'unread replies' button has vanished so you can no longer view replies to posts easily without hunting for them.
(2) The cookies issue with IE is still there - if you go to any other part of the Arduino website (other than forum), when you return to the forum it won't load until you clear the session cookies (you just get &token=sdfsfkserw234 or whatever in the address bar).
(3) The new topic and post editor has now become only TWO LINES tall, so you can't actually see what you are typing (with IE at least).
(p.s. I don't plan on using another browser thanks ;))
(4) it no longer shows your most recent posts in the profile - at least that I can find. That's by far the single most useful feature of the "OLD" format.
The white space is nothing but a total waste of pixels.
Can't see why that would be a good idea.
And indeed the standard 2 line edit box, is a pure annoyance.
In Firefox i can extend it, don't know about other browsers.
But now one always need to extend it in order to get a usable edit box.
And indeed any post results in an error from which you cannot return to the last screen, because you just submitted a new post and one can't go back to do a new post that has already been done (you have to take multiple steps back).

I agree. This forum has too much traffic for me to read all forums. At times I don't have that much time available to read the forum, and I just want to see if there are replies to any of my perls of wisdom and not have to slog through all of the different sub-forums. Please bring back a simple way to read all of the threads that I have posted in. Even better, if there were an indication that there is new content that I have not read yet.
Evidently, if you can find an old post of yours, you can click on the name, and it will give you the menu to show posts by that user. Please, please add such a line to the profile drop down menu.
As I posted in another menu, this 2 line limit is absurd. Yes, I can resize the window, but it is annoying.
please avoid duplicate existing alerts (more posts to read, more time to collect issues, more time to solve)
please post alerts in the existing dedicated thread to avoid scattering comments all over the forum (more threads to read, more time to collect issues, more time to solve)
if you identify issues related to bad rendering on different browser, please inform us about type and version of the involved browsers
Often big changes are followed by big breaks: help us to track them correctly and we will be able to fix them as quick as possible.
Thanks for patience.

Aha, good find. It appears to take you to the old profile page.

Using Chrome, it takes me 6 or 8 tries before I can even get hold of the resizer doohickie. Duh?
I'm using Firefox - the latest version - on Win7/64bit. Each page that I go to has a blue background showing nothing except the Arduino logo and the search box. There is a scrollbar, though. If I scroll way down, I can see the bottom of the page of interest. Then I can scroll back up and see the rest of the page.
Annoying, so I tried IE 8. There is a text bar across the top that says that Arduino.cc offers limited support for IE, and suggests that I try a modern browser, like Firefox. But, at least the pages display correctly. Rather ironic that the support browser can't display the page properly, but the unsupported on can.
Thanks by the way for the new unread posts, unread replies, and latest posts button. I recall under the old forum that unread replies was unusable (it missed many articles I posted in), but the current iteration seems to work better.
Also, the post box is now larger than the original 2 lines, and the curl lines are missing. Thanks for fixing it.

the "you have xx messages" bit seems to have gone walkabout as well
Thanks to this message I noticed yet another issue...
Now the number of pending incoming PMs is shown near your avatar in top header. Not only on the forum, but also on all other parts of the Arduino platform.
Moving the mouse on top of it, from the drop down menu the "Messages" item permit you to reach your messages panel.
