I'm a little unsure on how I would wire this receiver (page 4 in the link) to an arduino. I'm looking to hook the receiver to the arduino to detect a break in the beam and trigger something else. Would that mean hooking white and black wires into digital pins and once the beam is broken it would sent the signal on those wires? What does the "Load" represent on the receiver? Just a resistor? Is there two different loads so the same receiver can act as NPN or PNP? I'm a little lost. Any help is appreciated.
