Time Library Question

I saw this on Hackaday.com http://www.seanet.com/~karllunt/interval.html

Does the official Arduino Time library make any attempt to adjust for inexact timer frequency issue discussed in there?

(This is aside from any issue about crystal frequency accuracy/tolerance)

Thanks,
John

No, the Arduino code for millis() and micros() gets the details right for 16MHz and 8MHz clocks.
Go look at the code!

If you use a 20MHz crystal you'll have to write/tailor your own version!

However some Arduinos like the Uno don't use a crystal so they are not accurate enough unless you
de-solder the ceramic resonator and replace with a crystal+caps. For the Time library that would
mean using an RTC chip instead I think.
