Im building an rc car and wish to use switches on the contoller to start the engine(its a methanol) and turn on some leds etc. Could any of you link a good kit I can use? like a reciever and control. I wish a range of maybe 100m.

Remember that higher power = more battery power. Choose a god antenna to match whatever you want.
I guess you use spare channels on your RC transmitter for this task, or get a transmitter with more channels ?
How you then start the engine ,which I guess needs a big battery and an electric starter and clutch arrangement to start it, might be worth a google - but seems an odd thing to do. You'll need to power the glow plug too.
This will slow your car down a bit.. or you might need a trailor, lol
You could use a servo to operate a mechanical switch.. I guess.
