I have been searching for way too long for this, so I hope someone else has made an indoor/outdoor project without as much guesswork.
I am looking for a bright display, that is also dimmable and is under 2 inches. Color or monochrome is fine, but nothing that looks like it came from 1987 e.g. a green/dark LCD.
I started with a(n) UCTRONICS .96in OLED display, but it is not bright enough. Great looking display on the budget side, but not for indoor/outdoor use.
I've seen a few that might work, but I'm hoping someone has a recommendation based on actual usage.
