Hi all I am about to finally go about making my first PCB, but was just wondering, I need some electronic pliers snips etc to work with components and soldering etc, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

Try to read Lady ADA's tutorial on using Arduino.
Besides teaching Arduino, it also deals with electronics in general, and the first "episode" has a good run down on a set of basic tools needed.
