I have mine. Maybe "dark" theme has dark buttons?
Been using dark theme almost from day one and they showed as grey.
More missing... "prc" ? wth?
Came back randomly so I guess fixed.

The Discourse developers have made a change to how the forum's "sprites" are handled:
The Arduino Forum Discourse instance has been updated to the version of Discourse that contains that change.
Hopefully this change will fix the issues of graphics sometimes missing from the forum. Please let us know if you still experience that problem.

I'm sorry to hear that
I don't think profile pictures are classified as "theme sprites" so probably discourse/discourse#20501 would only be expected to fix problems with loading the standard forum UI graphics such as the missing ones shown in the screenshot here:
