Hello i have a question is there a way to track GSM without using gps and if so is there a sketch that i can use on the arduino?

It's possible (while you have a cell connection with data services) if you have access to a cell tower location database. Otherwise, no.
reason I'm asking is because sometimes in the big city where I'm at sometimes gps works or doesn't work on the arduino project i got it haves the gps module on it telling where it's at if that fails i would like to have some kind of backup you know. So if there is a way can be done i would love to here about it.
