Hi
I have a board around here which uses a similair setup for currents upto 1A. I'm going to write out the circuit (i cant draw schematics - very bad :()
- a pot with the pins 1& 2 shorted and connected to ground
- 3rd of the pot to the 1st pin of lm317
- a feedback resistor from the 2nd pin of lm317 to the 3rd pin of the pot
- a capacitor from the 2nd pin of lm317 to ground(filter i presume). The capacitor comes after the resistor.
- beyond the capacitor is the output
- 3rd pin of lm317 to the input voltage.
I know its not the best of explanations but thats typing looking at the back of a board i have
