As I can only understand PIC BASIC, and many programs are written in C or similar, I have to try to translate these programs into BASIC.

I have a line in a program: wrpara < <=1;
Can anyone help me trasnlate it please, or simply explain what it means please?

Cheers, Camerart.

That means to shift the bits in the variable “wrpara” one place to the left.

For an integer, the result is the same as multiplying by 2, but you must be careful of overflow.

I have a line in a program: wrpara < <=1;

That’s not going to compile.

error: expected primary-expression before '<=' token

   wrpara < <=1;

If there was no space between the two less-than symbols, then jremington would be correct.
