Transmission controller debug

The clutch in the torque converter that provides the lock-up function is almost never intended to transfer the entirety of the torque the engine can produce. It was intended to eliminate the inefficiency caused by the slight slip across a conventional torque converter while cruising down the highway. Unless you're running an upgraded torque converter you risk burning this clutch if you keep it locked at WOT, especially if the engine is producing more torque than stock.
