Transmitter and Receiver 433MHz

Hi

I have recently purchased this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/433-Mhz-transmitter-receiver-Arduino-Raspberry-PI-Colour-coded-jumper-cables-/171026631202?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item27d1fb4a22

I am wondering how I can extend the length of distance that the two devices can communicate between, could I get a large antenna? Any links/articles I can read?
