trapped in "hello world"

I made a terrible terrible stupid tight loop:

void loop()
{
Serial.print(" loop ");
}

It is running and I have tried a dozen bad methods to wipe it out. I am unable to upload a null loop() to recover.

Been trying reset, buttons. Its a $3 nano..... I would appreciate help in recovering from my stupid stupid error.

At least I didn't delete my entire company!! Yet!

Have you removed power, started upload then restored power?

I think that at power on it looks for an upload from the IDE for a few seconds.

I have 2 cheapy Nano's from SainSmart with bad reset buttons, I have to jumper from reset pin to GND for a reset.
