Can I do this without cause any damage to an input pull-up Due pin connected to D51 on the picture ?
The trigger in is an external 0 to 8v DC .
I breadboarded it and see no problems at all , but...

You will be okay.
R42 might need to be reduced in value if your LED doesn’t light.
Measure collector to emitter to confirm saturation when on.
