so i followed instructions to hook up a power boost to take my 5v trinket to 5v on a 3.7 battery. When i plug in the usb to download Arduino no lights come on and it immediately says to unplug usb it has too much power and the trinket gets hot. Help

In any event, this is a post-mortem investigation - order a new trinket while you figure out what you did to the current one
