I am having trouble downloading the Arduino software for Windows, I even tried to "Contribute and Download", it took my $10.00 contribution but it did not download. Seems to be stuck on the download.arduino site.
Try the $50 level! Just kidding. Delete temporary internet files, reboot, try different browser. Or maybe:
Cleared Temporary Internet file folder and used your link and it still timed out.......I guess Arduino has a problem with its download site.
Sounds pretty odd. I wonder if you're behind a firewall or something. It seems the site is fine from Texas. Where are you?
Using a company laptop at home, but tied directly to the internet and not going through the company VPN. I also clicked off the options going through the company servers in the Internet Options under LAN Connections and clicked on "automatically detect settings" and I am still getting the message "Waiting on downloads.arduino.cc". I don't think the company firewall are active, it allows me to be on the Arduino site and I made that $10 donation with not problem. I have downloaded before, not recently, so I am not sure what is up.......btw I am in Louisiana, but I don't think that matters. Thanks for your input.
