Trouble installing plug-in on Mac

I've been attempting to download the plugin for Arduino Create, and I keep getting this error message (2012 Macbook Pro):

"Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete properly. Error running security add-trusted-cert -d -r trustRoot -k"

And then a lot of folder information after that that I can share if need be. I'm on a bit of a time crunch, so if anybody has any ideas or information that could share, I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance and I look forward to some helpful replies.

I don't use a mac but that issue is covered elsewhere in this section (had your post moved to the correct area).

IIRC it is something to do with root permissions but I am sure you will find the relevant posts now.

What OS are you running on your Mac? Mac OSX 7 is not supported, we support Mac OS8 on.
