I have a new Arduino Uno. When I plug it in, the installation window comes up and I am able to go through the steps just fine. However, I cannot find a driver the computer will accept. I've chosen the FTDI USB drivers folder and followed the steps as presented in the instruction booklet to the letter. However, nothing works. I'm using a Windows XP. Has anyone else run into this problem? Thanks.
Have you gone through these things?:- http://arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting
Yes. I've also tried installing VCP drivers from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm (as suggested) but it didn't help.
