I am trying to install the driver for the Arduino Uno (I'm on Vista) following the instructions on the main site. When I go onto Device Manager Arduino is meant to appear under Ports (COM & LPT), however it only appears under "other devices". When I right click on this it shows update driver software so I do this and try to find ArduinoUNO.inf in the driver file but it is not there, only FTDI USB Drivers appears and that does not work. Any help on getting this sorted would be greatly appreciated. I really want to get on programming!
