You are using an ATMEL 328 on both the Uno and the Nano so there is no difference. No?
Anyway, you can use any Arduino card on any project based on it's spec, that's what matter! The earth is flat and arduinos works well on any project they are designed for. But of course, no power from the arduino, that should be routed outside the card if you don't know what V=I*R means. An
