trying to find a DB25M to DB25F bulkhead/panel mount

ok, so on my CNC, the breakout boards (i have two of them) connect to the computer via a DB25M to DB25F cable (not printer, as those have a Centronics connector for the printer end). the breakout boards are inside a metal cabinet, and i need to be able to close the cabinet door to keep dust out. if i could find some bulkhead/panel pass through connectors, it would solve that problem. i have racked my brain for quite some time, looking for them (since starting the CNC). i have searched eBay, and Amazon, just searched google images again. the best i could find was a DB25 gender changer, but i am not sure if i could make that work.
Just probing the great minds.

Maybe use a panel mount with IDC connector, then crimp on whatever sex connector you need on the inside
