trying to make lux meter with LDR

hi guys

iam trying to make a lux meter with an LDR

but i cant find an accurate relation between ldr resistance and lux

i find one actually but not sure about it R = 500/lux

and please don't say you need collimation with a real lux meter because i don't have one
if i have i wouldn't make one !

If you've got an Android phone or tablet, install Sensor Fusion and use the ambient light sensor to get a rough idea of levels

my phone doesn't have ambient light sensor :frowning:
