I am in a formula student project and we are trying to use an old nextion display as a “data log”. The problem is that we can’t lose the old tft file it has, and since this file is not saved anywhere we need to know if there is a possibility to get this file from the nextion display itself with arduino or even with a blank microsd card.

I assume the OP is referring to the HMI file loaded into the Nextion display microcontroller.
Tft is the type of file that the nextion display reads, but if I could get any file containing the old setup would be extremely helpful
Sorry, no you can't.
Even if you could what would you do with it? You can't get the original HMI file from it. You will have to use the Nextion editor to create a new one.
