Does TSC3200 from ams (TAOS) needs time to change frequency scaling from one value to another?

Lets say I need to change freq scaling from 100% (HIGH,HIGH) to 20%(HIGH,LOW) when button is pressed. when I am initialising scaling in setup() everything works good but when I want to change it in loop() then I am getting wrong results.

We may be able to help, but we need to see the code to do so. Also post the "wrong" results and what the "right" results look like. A data sheet for your device, as well, so we don't have to search for it.
