TSL235R light to freq. Run on IDE 1.0?

I've tried troubleshooting this sensor but have been unsuccessful. I've tried T0-T3 on my atmega1284p but I never get any counts. The frequency is always zero.

the code comes from Arduino Playground - TSL235R

It compiles but does this line specifically still work in the new IDE?

attachInterrupt(0, irq1, RISING);

Thanks.

You want the PD2/Int0 pin. Not sure what that has to do with timers T0-T3.

I tried every pin, and half the time my FTDI basic board gets rejected from my computer. I'll try an oscilloscope on the wave output and see if the tsl235 is smoked. Static discharge maybe?........actually I think I may have stuck those pins all the way through my breadboard and shorted it with the metal backing holding the bread board.... :sweat_smile: live and learn!

everyone else had hooked up to T1 for uno arduino boards. I referenced that pin as well as read it two other places.

Thanks for the help and confirmation.
