TTP-223 sensot too sensitive

I built a tactile Morse code key with two Ttp-223 sensors and it works great but one of the sensors is extremely sensitive and false triggers if my finger is too close. Any hints on how to decrease/adjust sensitivity? Thanks!

They trigger at a few mm distance. That's by design. It's called touch but it's really proximity (when touched there's still an insulating layer of lacquer in between your finger and the sense pad).

Sensitivity can be lowered by adding a capacitor to the touch pad.

Hi, the sensor that I have is slightly different, with no A or B solder pads, it's a blue board instead of the red one shown, maybe from another manufacturer. I assume that adding capacitance (approx. 50 pf) to the current capacitor would do the trick. Thanks!
