Hi guys I am undertaking my first project with electronics. I am currently in third year mechanical engineering so I do have some basic electronics knowledge.
What I am working on is a turbocharger controller for my truck that will have multiple analog and digital inputs as well as controlling a couple relays and solenoids. I have been testing with an uno and breadboard and have it running in my truck and am now in the process of developing a pcb board that will utilize the Atmega328P-PU chip.
Here is what I am thinking for a power supply. I am thinking that i should have a constant 12v wire then have a switched 12v wire that is connected to the ignition switch to turn the controller on. How could I implement that into my existing power supply? Is there a voltage regulator that already has this built in relay?
