I have a 12V motor acting as a winch. I need the winch to function in two directions, but when a certain load is hit (95 +5N), I need the winch to only work in the unloading direction. I could add a load cell to the back of the motor or maybe use current sensing on the motor. Is this project easily implementable with just an arduino, load cell, load cell controller, and motor controller? any examples or tutorials out there?
Programming the Arduino is probably straightforward if you can measure the load.
