The speed of the MCU restricts the horizontal resolution but the whole vga vertical resolution can be achieved. Also you must take in count the available RAM. My code consumes (width_pixels x heigh_pixels "/ 8") for pixel data and (width_pixels x heigh_pixels / 64) for color data.
I have updated the github repository.
For now it works on the atmega328p mcu boards.
The example prueba runs.
The schematic for nano on breadboard is ok, the schematic for uno is not tested but i guess is ok.
