hello everyone I would like to have the possibility of turning on the xbox with a passcode insert from arduino. The idea is that: I would like to mount the circuit with the button and arduino near the alimentation of the xbox. To control the power source should i use a relay? Because the xbox has an integrated ac adapter! So my question is: should I put the circuit before the ac adapter so 220V or after at 12V?

Use a PowerSwitch Tail- it allows you to switch 220 VAC with 5 volts from your Arduino.
