Tutorial on sending data from Yun to InfluxDB local

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some tutorials to send data from Yun to InfluxDB , which is locally hosted in my Raspberry pi.

I found there is InfluxDB library based on ESP8266.
But since Yun is using Atheros chip, guess that won't work right?

Any ideas? Thanks very much.
