Hi there i have been working around 3 weeks to solve the problem i faced which is the 7 segment display are not running by sequence. I'm using IR sensor module , 2x CD4026 and 2x 7segment display and NE 555 to develop circuit. when i try do simulation its running perfectly but when i do the circuit, it not running by sequence and had debouncing. I am also try the circuit without using 555 timer at first its running good but when I put the second counter, it not running by sequence. Also I'm not using Arduino to control it. what should i do? . Do you have any suggestion to make the sequence running by sequence and reduce the debouncing/noise ?

Hi, @aqilzrfzz

Place 0.1uF capacitors across the Vcc to gnd pins of ALL the ICs, place them as close to the pins as possible.

This will make sure your project is not tripping on power supply noise, also a 10uF or 100uF cap where your power supply enters your project may help as well.

ALL, most digital circuits produce power supply line noise.

hi thank you for your reply i put the capacitor but the result still the same. do you have any suggestion ? i have use jk flip flop 74hc112 but when i put the ir sensor, the 7 segment display static only light up not counting
