Two Factor Auth Setup FAILED

I heard the Arduino Forum was going to start deleting accounts that SOMEONE seemed to decide were abandoned. So I logged in to my account on the Arduino Forum just to be safe - and THEN I got trapped by the Forum INSISTING I set up Two-Factor-Authenticaton (2FA)! So I tried settibg up 2FA and that was IMPOSSIBLE to do. Now the forum keeps asking me for a six-digit code that I never received from anywhere. Now what am I supposed to do? I'm stuck. The Email associated with my account is unchanged and as of today still works fine. When I signed up for 2FA I was given a QR code that translates to a seemingly random 32 letter code of some sort. There were ZERO insrtuctions about what to do with that 32 character string of letters.

"Time" not "SomEoNE"

Whatever you did to post this, maybe? Have we been drinking?

You need an authenticator app. Try Googling "google authenticator alternatives" for some choices.

The app reads a QR code, which comprises parameters for a TOTP and probably your basic account info so that it can display that name in the app. It generates those six-digit numbers, which change every 30 seconds.

Two factor authentication is not a requirement as far as I know; you should be able to skip that.

Please do not post in "Uncategorized". OK got it - but that was the only way I could get anything to post. I was DRIVEN to post with Uncategorized.

I somehow doubt that
