I attempted to use one Arduino board to drive two IR sensors for distance measurement. Unfortunately, there is just one +5V output pin which is able to drive the IR sensor. So I had to parallel connect those two IR sensors to the +5V output pin. The problem was signal from sensors interfering with each other which led to wrong feedback from serial port. Should I use two IR sensors with different frequencies or should I keep on using those two sensors but making them work in turn to avoid signal interfering? For the first method, does anyone know any commercial IR sensor of which the frequency isn't 38 kHz? For the second method, does anyone know how to fulfill that? at last, better ideas are appreciated.
