Type C USB shows error

Hi there,

I am new to Arduino and have a Mac running 10.12.3 with 2 x Type C USB. I try uploading a sketch but get the following error.

Flashing with command:/Users/rbaum/.arduino-create/arduino/avrdude/6.3.0-arduino8/bin/avrdude -C/Users/rbaum/.arduino-create/arduino/avrdude/6.3.0-arduino8/etc/avrdude.conf -q -q -patmega328p -carduino -P/dev/cu.usbserial-DN00Z0NT -b115200 -D -Uflash:w:/var/folders/c5/20v8xp792713hcp40l5x4ft40000gp/T/arduino-create-agent306546778/SIK_circuit01_blink.hex:i

avrdude: ser_open(): can't open device "/dev/cu.usbserial-DN00Z0NT": Resource busy

Executing command: exit status 1

I tried it on my old Mac with USB 3 and it works fine...

Does anyone know what I can do to fix?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts...

Hi,

Your port is busy so your serial port is opened in another app or you selected the wrong serial port (common problem) or did you install the drivers (Chinese clones need specific drivers) or ... there might be 1000 different reasons why it isn't working :(
