UART Problem

Hello there!

I'm building a datalogger which will log the messages received through UART to SD card.

I noticed a bug. The UART isn't being activated untill I open Serial Monitor. Till then, I can't receive any UART messages.

I can't move beyond this point. Do you know any fix to this problem?

Sure it can receive messages without the Serial Monitor open. How are you sending them? What are they being sent from?

I'm sending them via another Arduino.

Using Software UART solved my problem.
