Anyone have any experience with these? I've never gone for a ZIF socket because I always thought they were a bit of unnecessary luxury. But if these are actually usable, I will be able to find a use -- I was thinking one would be nice on the AVR Dragon, if it can reliably handle both wide and narrow DIP.

ZIF sockets once were rather pricey for a rather low volume market. But China production of nearly all things electronic have changed all the past pricing models. I've bought 28 pin slim and normal 40 pin ZIF sockets from Asia on E-bay with no quality issues, but then again I'm not a industrial user that is subjecting the sockets to extreme service use.
