Apologies in advance if this has been sorted already or elsewhere. I googled around and played with the problem a while before posting up here.
I am running Ubuntu LTS (Quantal) 64 Bit and the current downloads for working with the Due will not upload to my board. (either nightly or the beta versions, both fail the same)
3.2.0-49-generic #75-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 18 17:39:32 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
32 bit will not run on 64 bit full stop. (Not really too surprising, who would want to run 32 on 64 bit)
32 bit works just fine on a 32 bit install of Ubuntu LTS.
The problem appears to be that bossac is compiled against a different libc run time.
Bossac fails with the following error:-
./bossac: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Code compiles fine but will not upload as bossac fails.
All the rest of my 64 bit apps are running fine and there are no runtime problems with them. As is local code I compile for other apps I am writing..
