Hi, I have never managed to get my Arduino to work under Ubuntu. I have tried every forum suggestion regarding correct drivers but still nothing. Hopefully I have targeted this post at the minimum for success since I have excluded all references to the IDE or CC.
You can see from above kit info I have also tried two variants of Nano with same results.
Before attaching - run lsusb and dmesg -T | tail
Attach Nano (have tried using various cables including one newly purchased from RS Online as data cable)
Run lsusb - nothing showing as attached
Run dmesg -T | tail - no new messages
Any suggestions thankfully received.
