Ubuntu Linux Library Manager Broken in beta

The library manager on the beta is completely empty.

Nothing ever appears in the Library management tab except the search box.

Working just fine here. Did you copy it over an older version ?

Arduino IDE 2.0.0-beta.10
Ubuntu 21.04, Mate desktop, Linux 5.11.0-25-generic.

I have not installed: Arduino IDE (I never run the install script), nothing Java related (jre, jdk or whatever), nothing related to Arduino from the repositories. I have removed the modemmanager because I don't like it.

Are you using Ubunut 20.04 ?

Hi,

Yep Ubuntu 20.04 and 2.0.0-beta.10, although i use Cinnamon desktop.

I don't install the IDE, just unpack it and create a shortcut. Boards manager and sketchbook tabs work fine, Library manager remains empty.

Just tried the nightly. Still broken.

Hi @peteypops. I'm interested in investigating this. Do you still have the problem with the latest nightly build of Arduino IDE 2.x?
