UCN5832a chip driving multiple CSM-57442e [4.0inch Dot-matrix Display]

Hello all. I have taken apart a display that includes 2 sections of 4 inch dot matrix displays with 12 in each section. I am hoping to be able to find my own power source (should be easy) and control the display with my Arduino Duemilanove. As stated in the title, the chip that is driving the displays is UCN5832a. They are already wired and have pinned input on the side of each of the 2 sections as shown in the attachment.

I have been all over the world via google and I haven't figured out a way to talk to UCN5832a with arduino, and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or ideas.

Thanks!

Too soon to bump? Decided to try this project again.

Thanks!

Trying one last bump. I'm sure in the last 6 years, someone has tried something like this.

Last bump, I promise.

Thanks!
